This was the main question that a number of people will try to answer, during Michiel Teeuw's international live-reading 'it's five o'clock somewhere' on Thursday 21st of May.

Throughout the course of a nine-to-five working day, Michiel will use his instagram-based temporary office for temporality (@stichtingartisbook) to connect with different thinkers, each in their own time zone, each at their own five o'clock. Tune in throughout the day to hear a number of perspectives, on topics of time, connection, digitally and synchronisation.

At 09:00 UTC+2, a first connection was made, with Victoria, Australia (UTC+10). After this, each hour a timezone westwards of this will be connected. The last connection was made at UTC+2 17:00, with Rotterdam, Netherlands. In each timezone, a participant was share a text they have written for the project.

About Michiel's practice:
Michiel Teeuw (1999, NL) makes images that make people do things. His work aims to make people laugh, think and ask questions. During lockdown, he has been thinking about digital connection, and creating space(s) for people to talk and think in new ways.
